house may be the biggest investment you have. That's why we welcome
your questions and visit to our showroom to help you make the right
decision for your home. Let Window Works take
the risk and the worry out of window replacement. For 38 years, we have made over

A nationwide homeowners survey ranked "Energy
Performance" as the most important factor in their window
buying decision. We are proud to represent the following companies
offering quality vinyl and fiberglass products. Several offer lifetime
manufacturer product warranties and all stand behind their product. Product support makes
our job easier and should be an important consumer
concern.

Energy-Efficient Vinyl Windows and Doors Offer These Energy Saving
Features:
- "Simonton Windows" Impression
series 7300 provides your home with the narrowest
vinyl frame on the market. And with our detailed
installation method, we take the time to trim the "retro-fit"
exterior flange to insure a weather-tight
seal, and to create new life to your old curb appeal.
- "Vinyl Frames" insulate better than aluminum. The vinyl frame creates warmer windows which produces less condensation. Simonton Windows have a high CRF (condensation resistance factor) greatly reducing or even eliminating condensation problems.
- "Dual Paned Glass" stops 50%of heat loss which creates a more comfortable home.
- "Argon Gas" is used to fill the dual pane glass airspace to create higher thermal performance and greater insulting value.
- "LowE272 Double Layer Glass" coating (not "LowE" glass) provides energy advantages in both winter and summer by lowering "U" values and reducing "Solar Heat Gain".
- New "LowE366" Triple
Layer Glass coating now provides three times
the power of LowE glass. This ultimate glass coating
provides the maximum sun shading performance of tinted
glass while providing the lowest
"U" factors and "Solar Heat Gain Coefficient" (SHGC)
of any glass.
- Solar
Heat Gain Coefficient - (SHGC)The
amount of solar radiation that enters
a building as heat. The lower the number,
the better the glazing is at preventing
solar gain.
-
U-Factor - This represents the heat flow rate through a window, using winter weather conditions of 0°F outside and 70°F inside. The smaller the number, the better the window system is at reducing heat loss.
- "Super Spacer" technology creates a lasting silicone foam spacer system in between the panes of glass to stop the conduction of heat and cold. It is the most energy efficient spacer and superior in terms of longevity and durability.

The "Competitor Full Metal Spacer"

No Metal "Super Spacer"
- "Multi-Chambered Vinyl Frame" provides strength and sound insulating
qualities to reduce outside noise for a more quiet home.
- "Simonton Windows" offers a transferable Lifetime Warranty and Accidental Glass Breakage Warranty.
